Android: How to set up an email with the Gmail app

  1. Enter Gmail app.
  2. Click add Account.


  3. Add your email account and make sure after filling in the email, that you press on manual configuration.




  4. Press on Private (IMAP).




  5. Put your Email password.



  6. On the next step you will see that the username and the password have been filled automatically.


  7. On server you have to add mail. in front of your domain (example: mail.mydomain.com).




  8. In this step you have to repeat step number 7.




  9. In this step you can choose the period that the account will sinchronize with the server.




  10. Here you can enter the name you want to identify this email on your mobile.
