Create a database and give permission to a user

  1. Access your cPanel.

  2. Click on the dropdown that contains everything related to the databases.

  3. Click on MySQL Databases.




  4. To create the database you only have to fill in the first box and click on Create database.
    See that the beginning of the database name always contains the name of the cPanel user.





  5. At the bottom you will find the MySQL Users section.

  6. Enter the desired username and password that you will use to get access to your database (recommended to use our password generator and keep it in a safe place).

  7. Click on Create User.


  8. In order to have access to the desired database you have to give permission to the created user.



  9. By clicking Add, you can choose which privileges are granted to it.
